Olive cultivation in Coração do Vale is not just a business — it is our heritage.
It has its roots in the fertile valleys of Baixo Alentejo, on the left bank of the Guadiana River. Our heritage is one of profound cultural attachment to the land. For centuries, generations have gone by since olive farmer families tended to these groves, from their forebears learning their wisdom, their affection for nature, and their indomitable passion.
Out of this heritage, Lagar do Vale was born in 2017, created by two farming families with one dream: preserving tradition for innovation's sake. Today, we are honored to continue the legacy of our forebears, crafting olive oils that portray the spirit of our country – a spirit that is authentic, pure, and infinite.
